Tamper-evident audit trail
complete
Q
QualityCore Product
Covered quality events are recorded in a per-organization, hash-chained audit trail. The verifier checks the hashed content and links of stored audit rows and identifies a mismatch when a check fails.
Implemented scope:
- Attributed human, system and AI events within the supported event inventory
- Per-organization hash-chain verification
- Audit-history views and supported exports
Verification establishes internal consistency at the time of the check. It does not prove that every possible action was recorded, or establish completeness against a privileged wholesale rewrite or tail deletion without an external anchor. This is tamper-evidence, not a compliance certification.

September 11, 2026 — Open a supported affected record directly from its audit event. Deleted, unavailable or unsupported records may not have a link; existing access restrictions still apply.

Shipped 2026-08-31 — audit trail exports are now independently verifiable.
Previously an export left out the fields you would need to check its integrity without us. Every export now carries the full hash chain, so you or your auditor can confirm that no row has been altered or removed using nothing but the exported file. That is the difference between a record we assert is tamper-evident and one you can prove is.
Every audit-trail download is also now recorded with the number of rows it contained, so "who took this organization's audit trail out of the system, and when?" has a complete answer. If that recording ever fails, the download fails with it — you will never receive a copy that was not logged.
