Make a material's quality decision and restrictions clear to the people who need to use it.
Implemented foundation, behind an organization setting: a manually maintained quality material register with recorded release, rejection, quarantine and withdrawal decisions. This foundation is not the production inventory master.
Still planned: carry the resolved approved-for-use status into the operations system, where the material is actually selected or used. There is no Elevated Signals inventory sync in the current foundation, and not every reviewed improvement is deployed.
The intended outcome is fewer manual handoffs between QA and operations. A roadmap status is not authorization to release or use a material.
September 11, 2026 — Material-history access respects multi-site availability, and time-dependent status handling is more consistent. The material register remains a manually maintained quality foundation, not an inventory integration or a new authorization to use material.
