Schedule the work that repeats — weekly checks, sanitation rounds, preventive maintenance, internal audits, validations — and have each occurrence show up as a real, assignable item with its own due date.
What we are aiming at:
  • Repeating schedules for quality activities, set once
  • Each occurrence becoming its own assignable record with a due date and a place to record what was done
  • All of it on the quality calendar next to deviations, CAPAs and document routing, so one view answers what is due this week
  • The same reminders and escalations as any other dated obligation
Why this matters: one quality manager described building a schedule for audits, maintenance and sanitation, laminating it, handing it out, and then hoping — checking in occasionally to see whether it was being followed. A recurring schedule that generates real records replaces the hoping with a record of what was done and when.
